About tam tree

遠い国の古い絵本や人形劇の世界、
童話の森に魅せられて、少しくすんだトーンの布小物を制作しています。

Inspired by the world of old picture books and puppet theaters from distant lands,
and enchanted by the forests of fairy tales,
I create fabric accessories in soft, gently muted tones.

由来｜Origin of the Name

tam tree（タムチュリ） は、布小物作家 tamami による制作活動です。
名前の由来は、自身の名前の一部の「tam」と、
好きな童話の世界に登場する不思議な森や、
たくさんの動物と共に生きる木々の温もりを
シンプルに「tree」として組み合わせたものです。

tam tree is the creative work of fabric artist tamami.
The name comes from a simple combination of “tam,” taken from my own name,
and “tree,” which represents the mysterious forests found in my favorite fairy tales—
places filled with warmth, trees, and animals living together in quiet harmony.

作品の特徴｜Characteristics of the Work

チェコ、オーストリア、ハンガリー、ドイツ、ロシアなど、
遠い国の古い時代の絵本やおもちゃの世界に魅せられて、
少しくすんだトーンと、個性あふれるシルエットの
布小物を制作しています。

動物や木、身近な道具のかたちなど、
素朴であたたかなモチーフが多いのも特徴です。

Drawing inspiration from old picture books and toys from countries such as
the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Germany, and Russia,
I create fabric accessories with gently muted colors and distinctive silhouettes.
Many of my pieces feature simple, warm motifs—
animals, trees, and familiar everyday objects.

見た目の世界観だけでなく、
丈夫さや使い心地の良さも大切にしています。

日常の中にそっと物語が生まれるような、
